Hello from Stephanie McKinnon, Malabar, Florida.  I love to make cards and other projects. Being part of the Llama Pasture has been great fun.  These gals are so willing to teach what they know. (Like how to make a blog work right!) This is only my second Blog Hop, and I still have a lot to learn. Marsha (here-a-llama-there-a-llama, 5th page of this hop) was a life saver for me on how to use Blogger. My creativity keeps improving as I continue to make cards. One day, I will be able to say I'm a great card maker. Until I do - I will remain - Simply Stef!!

"Something Old - Something New"

The following cards use Stampin Up!'s In-Colors that are soon to be retired. I will definitely miss them, but look forward to seeing what new colors SU has in store for us! My last project on the blog was a joy to make - can't wait for the comments to flow in to see how you like it!

This card is made with Concord Crush, along with the In-Color Lucky Limeade, that will remain for another year.  The card appeared in the Stampin' Success Magazine, and my upline, Marianne Perry, decided we would make it during our monthly card club meeting. The flower is a strip of card stock fringed along the bottom edge then rolled into a circle, glued, and then "squashed" open. What fun!

The next card also uses Concord Crush with Wisteria Wonder. This is another card created by Marianne Perry for our card club session. I added the Boho Blossom flowers, the In-Color Wisteria Wonder brad, and the sentiment to my card after the club session.

My next card was made with one of my favorite of the out-going In-Colors (is that an Oxymoron, Buffy??!). Poppy Parade was such a versatile color for all occasions - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day,  Mother's Day. You can't see the small dots in the Poppy Parade DSP very well here, but it really enhanced the card. Loved that DSP pack!

In my last card, I used my favorite color, Blushing Bride. Can't tell you how many cards I've made with that color. It seems to go with everything from blues, to browns, to greens, even red!. Here it was used with another out-going In-Color, Pear Pizzazz.  I really loved the In-Color Glimmer Brads, too. Sure hope the new In-Colors will have them as well.

Last, but not least, is my project made with the Mini Milk Carton Bigz L Die. I would never have paired Peach Parfait with Bravo Burgundy, but the main flower in the Paisley Petals DSP really helped tie it all together. I saw a card on Stampin Connection where the poster made a flower to match the one in the DSP. I loved it so much that I had to CASE the flower idea.  So glad I did!  The ribbon is Rich Razzleberry, but for this project it was a close enough match for me!
